Curbside Pickup for Main Market Co-op Shoppers
Beginning on Monday, April 6th, Main Market Co-op in downtown Spokane will offer curbside pickup for all shoppers.
The new curbside pick-up will be a work in progress, so Main Market Co-op is asking for patience as the team navigates the logistics of making it work. Main Market Co-op appreciates the understanding during this time.
What do curbside shoppers need to be able to order?
- A credit or debit card (in some limited circumstances, cash or a check will be all right. The purpose of this service is to reduce points of contact and potential contagion).
- A working cell phone.
- An email address.

How do curbside shoppers order?

Your email needs to include:
- Your grocery order.
- A working phone number – a phone which you will be near or have on you.
- Your first name and last name.
- Let us know if you or someone else will be picking up the order.
- What kind of car will be arriving so we can find you.
How does curbside pick-up work?
Your grocery order will be gathered by gloved store personnel. A store employee will call you to collect your payment information. You will be told when to come to collect your groceries. A gloved store employee will deliver your groceries to your car. Ideally, you have a car in which the trunk or back end can be opened hands-free from inside, possibly using the key fob. You may want to rehearse this procedure at home if you’re not sure how your trunk or hatchback works. Please have an area in the trunk or back of your vehicle where your order can be quickly and safely secured. A store employee will deliver your order and you’re on your way.
*Orders received after 3pm will not be processed until the following day. Orders received after 3pm on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. Orders must be for at least $30.00 or more.
Dietary restrictions and substitutions
If you have particular dietary requirements, please include that information when you email or call. If you order a particular brand of item, but we’re out of that brand at the time, please let us know if a substitute item will be all right. In addition please note whether or not you are requesting organic only for your products or if conventional is okay to substitute.
When will curbside deliveries happen?
For the time being, as we work through how best to implement this service, orders will be delivered curbside from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Where will curbside orders be delivered?
The city has several 15-minute spots on the north side of Main Street and we will use for curbside pick up. We suggest you use that spot or queue up near there. If that spot is full, you may need to park in the lot and alert an employee. That’s why it’s important we know what car is coming to pick up your order.
